Hot Foil Stamping

Hot Foil stamping creates striking visual effects, embellishing an array of printed products such as greeting cards, labels, and book covers, to name a few. The application of Hot Foil is well known to not only give brand recognition but also add and enhance consumer interest at the point of sale.

Traditional hot foil remains the highest quality print over other similar foil techniques. The slight debossing created by the application of heat and pressure adds a luxury feel and look to the print.

Vulcan Specialty Products Graphic Arts magnesium, brass, copper, and zinc

Vulcan Specialty Products Graphic Arts magnesium, brass, copper, and zinc – are all used in conjunction with the Hot Stamping application. Brass and copper are generally used for long production runs and repeated designs. However, magnesium, either chemically etched or CNC cut, remains the fastest, most cost-effective medium to create hot foil stamping dies, with OptiMag ideally positioned for mid to long press runs.
